People say people changed, especially as they grow older. No matter how much i try not to believe this saying, People DO change. And the changes were scary. Well
some.
For instance, those who i know back from primary school weren't midgets anymore. God knows how and where they are now. (yes, im terrible at keeping in touch with my friends especially primary ones but don't judge me k, people
will change :D )
Things that i used to love so much , think all those boy bands, barbie, short stories, sweets, now seems not so important. i mean i cant live without sweets when i was young. Sweets are staple food for me.
Must have. i will spend most of my pocket money on them.
But now, it doesn't seems so terrible to live without sweets. Not to that extreme. More and more care are given and will be given on how i look in public, what i wear, what i eat, where i go and who i go with. There are just so MANY things to think about before i step out the door. Not that im bimbotic, its about being presentable or not.
I suddenly realized, as a child, all i have to do was eat , sleep , shit and well study. But even then, study means go to school. Worst thing that i have to do is to get up early. Now, i don't even know which one is worse. Everyday my brain will be flooded with stuff. Questions after questions.
What time got class. What teacher gonna teach. What's for lunch? Rice again?. Did i take my clothes in? . Must i go work today?. Tomorrow got test ah?. When assignment due? shit i haven't started. Wtf its due tomorrow?! Things like that and many
moreeeeeee...Life really is a circle. Imagine a cupboard. At first it was all brand new and empty. Then as time passes, things were chuck inside the cupboard. Big and small things. Important and casual things. Pretty and not-so-pretty things. Before we know it, its full. yet, more and more things keep going in. Push, I mean
press. Then one day, the cupboard will be REALLY full until we can't close it anymore. Maybe the lock is broken. Maybe the door hinges were spoiled. Maybe the wood were attacked by termites. Maybe the cupboard is simply too full and old to be used.
What happened next is pretty obvious. Things inside the cupboard will be taken out, some thrown some replace. When it is empty again just like how it was at first, it is time to chuck it away. And then you can shop for a new cupboard! :D
Well that only happen if the thing is a "it" . Too bad the same can't be said for humans. No one can be replace. No matter what. Everyone is unique, and everyone is not just anyone. All of us is unique in their own way.
Although we
do change, but that's all a part of growing. Changes won't hurt. What really matters are what we change and how we change. In the end, we all will be back to square one again.
Right now, im sitting waiting for some one to call. or just text. hmph.. wonder why. :(
